Valve Springs

We use Terry’s spring references predominantly, which feature a three digit number (prefixed with GBH VS T 451.) Where there is a six cylinder version of a four cylinder engine, Terry’s used the suffix ‘A’ e.g. GBH VS T 451.474 for Austin A40, A55 and A60 and GBH VS T 451.474A for Austin A90. Limited interchange information and search facilities are also provided for Tranco spring numbers, which feature a four or five digit reference number after the prefix GBH VS T. If you know the Tranco reference number of the spring set you require but can’t find it on the website, please email us and we will advise the corresponding Terry’s number where available. We also list a limited range of later AE three digit VSP and 94000 series numbers where they do not interchange with Terry’s reference numbers. These springs feature the manufacturer prefix AE, rather than T or TR, before the numerical reference. The majority of springs are listed with a note regarding whether they are a Single or a Double spring.
