Cords Ring Sets

Cords piston ring sets contain multi segment steel rings. They have petrol and diesel applications and are designed to restore compression and oil performance in re-built engines. The steel rings conform to the tapered and oval condition in worn bores and each set is supplied with cast iron ridge dodger top rings to eliminate the need for removing the wear ridge at the top of the cylinder. Some sets feature a one piece slotted drain oil control ring instead of multi segment units. Ring sets are available to suit standard and oversize bores. We list Cord sets by their original number in the format e.g. CEP PR C 1, where 1 is the Cords set number (for Austin A30 1952 to 1956).
